5 years · Anywhere in India

A cottage that
pays for itself.

We design and build A-frame cottages, villas and resort exteriors. Fixed drawings, a measured quote, and a structure standing in 45 to 90 days instead of two years.

Elevation · compact A-frame, 520 sq ft

The argument

The roof and the walls
are the same thing.

That is the whole trick of an A-frame, and it is why one costs less per square foot than a square cottage of the same floor area. You buy the structure once and it does both jobs. There is less foundation under it, fewer materials in it, and the steep pitch means heavy rain leaves the roof instead of sitting on it.

  • One structure, two jobs. No separate wall and roof build-up to pay for.
  • Less foundation. The load comes down two lines, not four walls.
  • Made off site. The frame is cut in a shed while your foundation cures.
  • Glass where it counts. Both gables open up, so a small plan feels large.

What we build

A-frames are the signature.
They are not the limit.

  • SignatureA dark-clad A-frame cottage with a steep gambrel roof, two dormer windows above and a deep covered verandah below, its rooms lit warm against a grey studio background.

    A-frame cottages

Our signature. One strong triangle, a loft under the ridge, and glass at both gables.

    • Structural frame design and fabrication
    • Gable glazing and loft floor
    • Roofing, insulation and waterproofing
    • External cladding and deck
  • A two-storey timber villa with a steep shingled gable, a glass-railed balcony and an external staircase, standing on a lawn with young planting at dusk.

    Villas

Full villa design and build, or the exterior shell for a plan you already have.

    • Plan, elevation and section drawings
    • Structure, roofing and external walls
    • Facade material and finish
    • Terraces, decks and boundary work
  • A black A-frame cottage set among tall trees, its full-height gable glazing lit from inside, with a timber deck and two wooden chairs in front of it.

    Resort exteriors

Multiple cottage units on one site, built to the same drawing so they match.

    • Unit design, repeated across the site
    • Siting, levels and orientation
    • Common structures and walkways
    • Phased build so the first rooms open early
  • Design only

Drawings and 3D views, if you have your own contractor.

    • Site study and plot levels
    • Plan, elevation, section
    • 3D views for approvals and presentation
    • Material and finish schedule

Our work

Eight frames, eight plots.

The same shape reads completely differently in woodland, on a rocky terrace and over water.

What it costs

Three bands, printed.

Indicative bands from the Indian prefab and cottage market, October 2026. Your number comes from the site visit, not this page.

  • Essential

    ₹1,250 – ₹1,550per sq ft

A sound, simple cottage. Steel or timber frame, standard roofing, basic finishes.

  • Most built

    Standard

    ₹1,800 – ₹2,600per sq ft

What most cottages are actually built at. Better glass, a proper deck, finishes that survive a monsoon.

  • Signature

    ₹3,400 – ₹5,400per sq ft

A cottage meant to be photographed and charged for. Full-height glazing, hardwood, concealed services.

Whole-unit prices and what is excluded

How a job runs

Four steps, in this order.

  1. 01

    Site visit

We stand on the plot, take levels, check access for a truck and note which way the rain comes from. Half a day.

  2. 02

    Drawings and quote

Plan, elevation and section, plus a quote measured off those drawings. You see the building before you commit to it.

  3. 03

    Fabrication

The frame is cut and made while the foundation is going in on site. This is the part that saves you a year.

  4. 04

    Raise and finish

The frame goes up in days. Roofing, glazing, cladding and services follow. You get a handover list, not a phone call.

Before you ask

What we will and will not promise.

A price before a site visit
No. Access, slope and soil change the number more than the floor plan does. The bands on this site are the market, not your quote.
A date we can hold
Yes, once drawings are signed. Fabrication happens in a shed, not in the weather, which is why prefab dates hold and site-built dates slip.
Interiors and furniture
Not our scope. We hand over a finished exterior and a serviced shell. We will work alongside whoever does your interiors.
Approvals
We give you drawings a local body will accept. Filing them and paying the fees stays with you or your architect.

Send us the plot location
and a rough size.

That is enough for a first conversation. The site visit is where the number comes from.
